This dress is a real statement piece. A strong print and graphic cross design pop in black and white for a fun new take on mod dressing.

This pattern is from the Mod Square collection.

Recommended Materials

Dress fabrics.

Amount of Fabrics

Note: In addition to the black and white floral print fabric for this style, you will need a coordinating striped fabric for the bands and matching plain fabrics in black and white for the curved neck band. The fabrics should all be of the same type.

Satin, floral print,
width: 150 cm (59 ins) ­
length: 1.05 – 1.05 – 1.35 – 1.35 – 1.35 m
(1 1/4 – 1 1/4 – 1 5/8 – 1 5/8 – 1 5/8 yd).

Satin, with lengthwise stripes (stripe width 24 mm / approx. 1 inch),
width: 145 cm (57 ins)
length: 0.65 m (7/8 yd) for all sizes.

Plain satin,
width: 135 cm (53 ins)
length: black, 0.45 m (5/8 yd)
white, 0.15 m (1/4 yd).


1 invisible zip, 60 cm (24 ins) long.
