Hi All,

I printed my pattern on A4 Epson printer, as it was without changing properties. The test square is 12 × 12 cm instead of 10 × 10 cm.
Does anybody know how adjust that or solve this problem. I’m living in Ireland and I’ve heard that the size of paper or A4 print is slightly different than in Germany that’s why the pattern is printed bigger.

Does anybody know how to solve it?
Thanks in advance.

It may be worth checking what the default properties for your printer actually are … it may be set to ‘Fit to Page’. On some models this is set by a small check box, or on others a drop-down box. If its a check box, make sure it is unchecked … if its a drop-down, select the option that prints as is. Also make sure the paper selection is A4 and is set to print Portrait.

I had mine printed up at a print shop. I found that the person behind the counter was able to print the pages with scaling. This made the test square come out to about 4" – exactly 10cm. If your printer setting is set on no scaling that should work. FYI, I noticed the “A4” size patterns will fit onto a US Letter size page. The print shop employee used a US Legal size. I prefer to get mine printed at a shop because their ink is water proof. My home printer is not.
