Hi all,
Have managed to order just 1 yard of jersey from Spoonflower, very silly I know! I was wondering if any of you had tips on good patterns that might work? I’m a size US6, UK 10-12…
All comments and suggestions gratefully received (aside from ‘you numpty, who buys only one yard?!’)

Hi, what about this cute tshirt? http://www.burdastyle.com/pattern_store/patterns/striped-t-shirt-022013 The burda photo underrates the pattern but check out the other members versions. I’m not sure how much a yard is but I can get a tshirt out of a metre and I’m a size 12. If you can’t quite fit the pattern in you could shorten the hem a little

1 yard should be enough for a simple blouse (sleeveless or cap sleeves or short shirt sleeves). The basic bodice block could be a good guide. All the best…

Thanks for your ideas guys! You were right, it was kind of (just about!!) enough to make a basic top – Finished it yesterday so hopefully I’ll upload it today :)
