I was doing some research on materials that can be used to construct a mens blazer jacket, and one of the most common used fabrics was wool, however i would want to use a fabric that is fresh and light, with the feeling of wool, suited for the summer, what fabrics can i use? I’ve experimented with plain weaved cotton, but the quality was horrible and the lining was not suiting, also what other materials can i use for lining other than “lining” labeled fabrics? A great example of what im talking about can be seen here in the pink blazer jacket look .

Any suggestions?

For your outer fabric, look at silk matke, cashmire, silk/cashmire blends, and rayon. For lining try a silk/cotton mix. Look for a sateen weave if you cab find it. Or use silk habotai.

Nothing: I don’t do commercial stuff, only bespoke. This is what I would recommend to a customer or use for myself.

What you use for commercial work will depend on what you selling price point is. This goes for structural stuff and methods of construction, too. Compromise is the name of the game there!

I have no idea. I just suggested things that might drape in the same way.
