I’m looking for graphics or visual aids for the following instructions (model 117, Burda Style 02/2017). I’ve been reading and re-reading, can’t figure it out….

From lining fabric, cut 2 facing pieces, each 4 X 4 cm. Pin facing pieces to skirt backs, at marketd lower end of zip slit. Stitch facing pieces horizontally to edges of seam allowances. Clip diagonally into corners. Turn facing pieces up again. Stitch center back seam from lower edge to end of facing piedes. Press seam allowance open. Turnen of strips down again and press lower end of slit.

Thanks in advance.

What a nightmare of instructions! It sounds like its for either a split (unlikely because the skirt is already short) or just re-enforcement for the seam. Personally I wouldn’t bother re-enforcing the end of the zip, but you can if you want… Just fuse on some fabric with interfacing at the bottom of the zip, and continue to insert the zip.
