I’m having issues uploading photos to a project. I’ve tried twice in Google Chrome on a Mac OS, I also tested in Safari – same issue. They look fine in the editing screen, and on the project ‘home’ page, however within the published project the photos are being squashed to a square size rather than the usual larger rectangular shape. I have deleted the project as I didn’t want anything up with such terrible looking photos. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Zoe

It’s now one year later, but I’m gonna respond to this anyway because hopefully it will help somebody else. I have had this same issue. I find that if I turn off the “Auto image rotation” feature in my camera (a Nikon 1 J1) and just edit the pic (in my case, using Photoshop, though I imagine any pic edit program will do) to rotate it as necessary, I don’t have issues with funky rotation and sizing anymore.

Thanks, annaaustintx! Photos may also distort if they are not 615 pixels wide. You can resize images in Photoshop or online apps like Pixlr.
