Cool greys transition from summer to fall in a chambray shirt dress, flowing maxi skirt, and cool new jackets. This collection is from the September 2014 issue of Burda Style magazine.

A sporty chic Tunic Blouse with a hood and elasticated waist. It’s longer at the back with slits at the side for ease of movement. Wear it with leggings and sneakers running around town.

Wear this zip fly Maxi Skirt with pockets and belt loops instead of jeans for a more elegant look instantly. Grey crepe flows beautifully.

A well placed godet gives this dress a fun flouncy hem. Soft flannel is shaped with a round neckline and seamlines for a minimalist look that still has movement and body.

This Casual Skirt belts itself with an attached button tab band. Wool or jersey fabric and little slits at the side make it wearable with tee shirts.

A detailed fall Blouson Jacket with a hood, bellow pockets, and a roomy cut for plenty of warmth and utilitarian style. This cozy jacket has a high collar and drawstring waist.

Pick up a textured knit fabric to sew this Chunky Sweater in a snap. It has an exaggerated shawl collar and would be just as cozy in sweatshirting or thick jersey.

Reinvent the chambray shirt as a casual shirt dress with a drawstring waist and elastic cuffs. Slit pockets are perfect for daytime in the city.

This Tweed Blazer is fitted at the waist with narrow lapels for a feminine take on the classic tweed jacket. The sleeves and body are seamed and it’s finished with hidden pockets.

Utilitarian pieces in steely grey are chic for the city streets. Bring a little urban style into your wardrobe, from Denver to Tokyo.

Happy sewing!

Nice well-balanced collection! I love the fluid pieces paired with the more streamlined pieces and the take on the fall makeup is nice.

Yes I like the flounce dress too, but without the dip at the back hem.

The train on the maxi would be ruined after being worn outside. Love the flounced dress and the chunky sweater, though.
