Dark doesn’t mean boring in this collection of grey and black. Look for insets, peplums, and layered fabrics for cool new outfits. These designs are from the December 2014 issue of Burda Style magazine.

The Extra Wide Lace Top has cool bell shaped silhouette with a wide body and fitted sleeves. Make this simple top a sexy statement piece with lace fabric.

This slightly flared Brocade Skirt makes a glamorous outfit in shimmery brocade. A pointed hip yoke ensures a great fit, and the single front pleat has some structure.

Elegant but sexy, the Inset Blouse with Godets shows a little skin with lace or mesh inserts and flirty godets at the hem. Make the most of the silhouette with narrow pants or a pencil skirt.

Create curves in this short sleeved Curved Peplum Top. The feminine peplum is offset by paneling for a structured, refined look. The neckline is an understated split neck.

The Turtleneck with Cuffs gets a glam makeover in shimmering metallic jersey. This style has wide cuffs and princess seams for added polish.

A paneled design gives this Knee Length Paneled Dress shape and structure for a modern take on the wiggle dress. This fitted style works best in an elastic fabric. Get different looks with jacquard or a curve hugging knit jersey.

Turn heads at your next holiday party in these midi length sparkly Culottes. Feather light chiffon and sequins make them so festive, but you could use a plainer fabric for every day. The Drawstring V Neck Blouse makes a nonchalant top with a V neckline and cinched waist.

Slip this Sequin Jacket over your party dress, or wear it with a cocktail skirt and tank for a fun party outfit. It’s a clean design with hidden snap closure at the neck.

Layers of style! The Layered Party Skirt has three beautiful textures at once, so you can control how much glitz goes in your look. Make one in sequins, one in lace, and one in an opaque jacquard or satin.

You can style the Long Blazer Style Dress two ways: as a lightweight evening jacket over a fitted outfit, or worn alone as a mini dress. The asymmetric front is rounded at the bust, and two-seam sleeves have a slight trumpet shape that works so well with gloves.

This collection has just enough glitz to be festive, but your outfit won’t be totally overwhelmed by sparkle. Add punch to the plainer pieces with cocktail jewelry, and pair the more extravagant designs with simple black stilettos.

You can also buy the entire collection as one download! Get all 11 patterns in Twilight Drama for only $34.99 for a limited time only.

Happy sewing!

Hi Burdastyle. Will you guys offer other collections as a bundle discount in the future? There was a collection I was very interested in but getting them one by one would have been too costly. Thanks for starting this! :)

These are from the upcoming December 2014 issue of the European Burdastyle. The US edition features various collections from older issues of the European release. I wish that the US issue featured the newer collections.

I agree, I have been looking for a pattern like that for ages! To make it longer and in a transparent knit fabric!
