Napkin MATERIALS


+ Cotton (two different colors)
+ Yarn
+ Beads
+ Pencil
+ Beads
+ Vliesofi
+ Scissors
+ Ruler
+ Chalk
+ Pins
+ Embroidery needle
+ Embroidery thread

Napkins Steps 1 2


Step 1: Cut napkin – to do this, draw the dimensions (here approx. 40 × 40 cm) on the fabric and cut it out.

Step 2: Press the upper two edges twice to the wrong side 0.5 cm and topstitch in place.

Step 3: Then press the side edges twice to the wrong side 0.5 cm and topstitch in place.

Step 4: Iron Vliesfix onto the wrong side of the fabric of the contrast cotton fabric.

Step 5: Trace the template of strawberry with pencil on the pink contrast fabric.

Step 6: Then cut out the strawberry, remove the paper from the Vliesfix and iron the fruit on the bottom right on the napkin.

Step 7: Sew on the strawberry all around with a narrow zigzag stitch.

Step 8: Embroider the strawberry leaves with embroidery thread. Also embroider small dots in the strawberry with pink yarn.

Step 9: Finally decorate the strawberry with different pearls and beads. When buying, make sure that the beads are washable!

FINISHED! Then sew up a bunch more for your next Spring get together.
