BurdaStyle is proud to announce that starting in November, the Textile Arts Center will be teaching intermediate sewing classes using BurdaStyle patterns! This past Friday was the grand opening event for the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn, NY. With its curved felt-covered walls, custom-designed light grid, and plenty of worktables, the Center is designed to serve the established and emerging creative community of Brooklyn. We couldn’t be happier about such a great new center in our very own city!

It features state-of-the-art weaving, screen-printing and dyeing equipment, including 30 multi-harness floor looms, 7+ sewing machines, a large vacuum-sealed exposure unit and two fabric-yardage screen-printing tables, plus much more. If you’re in the New York area, make sure to stop by and check it out! They offer sewing, weaving, dyeing, crocheting, embroidery, screen printing, quilting, and much much more!
