The new pattern collection from burda style magazine’s September issue will bring you back to the Sixties. Boxy cuts and firm fabrics are the foundation of these new autumn fashions. The Sixties flair is shown through the graphic prints and fantastic colors seen in the styles and will make you the center of attention.

Here is a lovely ensemble of a matching jacket and mini-skirt. This Boxy Jacket is so classic and chic. It has wide raglan sleeves and a boxy cut that leaves plenty of room for a cozy pullover underneath. We love it paired with this Pleated Mini Skirt that has a great inverted front pleat.

This mod look is so trendy. This A-line Jumper has a clean silhouette and simple style lines that elongate the body. We love it paired over this graphic Turtleneck that is slightly fitted. This outfit is great for the cooler days to come.

Complete the look with a large statement bag, such as this matching pink Michael Kors handbag. Or, go for a more everyday look with a satchel, such as this brown leather design by Mulberry.

This Sheath Dress is a chic and clean look for all occasions. Long bust darts that begin at the side seams give the dress its flattering form. Pair it with tights and a matching headband for a trendy fall look.

Here is a bright yellow silk Blouse which has an asymmetrical collar and front bow. The full sleeves are gathered in narrow bands that make this blouse truly something special.

Style this blouse with a sleek pair of printed trousers and classic pumps. We love these floral pants by Erdem and these blue suede heels by Casadei. This outfit will have you going to the office in style – and even look great having those after work drinks!

This Dress Coat has clean lines and an elegant cut that make any outfit right! The straight double-breasted coat has raglan sleeves and inseam pockets. It is flattering for every woman and can be styled from classic to creative.

This purple shirt and camel pants make a fresh and cheerful impression. The V-Back Top has a flattering little standing collar and a nice V-neckline in the back. We love it paired with these Ankle Pants that are slightly flared to the hem. This chic outfit will get you from point A to point B in style.

Lastly, we have a Graphic Dress that is truly picture perfect. In addition to the print, interesting details include a Peter Pan collar and gathering at the front yoke seams. We love it worn with contrast tights and little boots for a mod look that screams fall.

These are elegant patterns—nicely updated from the original styles—and a fabulously styled shoot. Adding a few of these to my list!

Beautiful pattern collection! I love the print dress and the coat. I like the silhouette of the green jumper but I’m not particularly crazy about the fabric. It can be worked, though!

I was right in the 60’s. These are true mid to late sixties styles. This was leading us into the early 70’s for sure. However, I do remember the clothes having a better fit than shown here on the models. .

The graphic dress, and blouse are on my to do list. I collect vintage patterns (have over 300!!) but don’t have anything similar to those two patterns.

Ebay is actually an excellent source of out-of-print patterns, vintage fabric and notions. Many outfits have been saved by things I could never find in stores, especially since I don’t live in a major metro. You should check it out.
