This new children’s pattern collection from burda style magazine is so adorable! The kids pose in the photo studio and play around in the latest fall fashions. This collection has a a retro feel and is made up in bright colors and fun prints that children are sure to enjoy.

This little girl’s Patch Pocket Coat looks great made in a bright color! It is double-breasted with a rounded collar and has cute patch pockets with flaps. Just add colored tights and hair band with pom poms for a outfit that is perky and cute.

This outfit is colorful and great for fall time. The little girl’s Mini Skirt is so adorable and goes great over tights. It is closed with two rows of buttons and has handy hip pockets. The Gathered Sleeve Blouse has the simple cut of a t-shirt but the sleeves are special – narrow on top and with gathered lower sections that create a puff effect.

Don’t be misled by the sweet cut, cap sleeves, and pleated skirt – this Dress has nothing against a little nonsense. The black leather bow adds a dainty touch to the front and a narrow leather belt makes a great matching accessory.

This little girl’s Pleated Blouse is so darling. The large collar has been double laid in interesting pleats for a cute blouse that can be worn with any bottoms!

This girl’s A-line Dress is so simple, yet so cute! It made from ponte jersey for the little girl who likes to move, and has a sweet A-line silhouette with patch pockets.

Here is the cute Double Breasted Jacket .This little girl’s jacket is both casual and chic with the large buttons and standing collar.

This is the Gathered Dress for little girls who want to feel elegant and grown up. It has a large bow and gathering at the yokes and waistband.

Happy Sewing!

Oh, honestly, get the heading right please??? That’s girls patterns. There are boys out there too. I know for sure, I’ve got two of them and they like getting something mommy-made too.

It is difficult to find much in the way of patterns for little boys who are not toddlers but not teens either. Any new posts of patterns for them would be sincerely appreciated.

I’m so dissapointed that these are all for girls. I agree, they should call them girls’ patterns on the home page so we don’t get our hopes up! Or better yet, include some patterns for boys.

Love these patterns – I could see myself making all of these for my daughter. The jackets are particularly beautiful. It is a pity these don’t come in larger ages as these definitely translate across many age groups (including adults!). I also love the wonderful use of colour in these clothes\photo shoot. Love, love, love!

Cute, but: they should just be honest and rename it “girls” instead of “kids”!

I agree with loulourosa about the larger sizes. When you like the model it’s always the wrong size.

These patterns are adorable! I’d love to see some patterns for boys too. Mama’s love sewing for their sons as much as their daughters :)

I like these patterns, but why don’t they come in larger sizes? I have a nine year old girl who wears a size 152, she likes these clothes too. In the seventies, burda had a special magazine for “schoolchildren”.
