Designer Checks & Plaids

First up we saw a lot of checks plaids and pastels on the runways of shows like Loewe and Celine that debuted their collections at Paris Fashion Week.

Patterns Checks and Pastels

Embrace both these trends with our Cap Sleeve Princess Dress included in the kit as well as the Plus Size Tulle Skirt! Pastels are always so nice for Spring, and we’re loving that it is so hot this season.

Designer Sheen and Print Mixing

There was also a lot of plastic and high sheen looks especially when it came to over garments and Spring coats as seen here on the Chanel runway. Then designers like Dries Van Noten showed lot’s of print mixing and you could either sew different prints in one garment or simply wear fun print separates!

In the Plus Size Kit you’ll find this shiny blue coat reminiscent of Chanel’s, then both the blouse and skirt are included in the Standard Size Trends Kit.

Designer Fringe and Tulle

We also saw a lot of fringe and tulle on the runways and this Spring is all about the movement and volume! Both Balmain and Fausto Puglisi embraced these trends.

Both kits include our Leather Fringed Bag and tulle skirts!

Designer Trench and Anoraks

I must say my favorite trend of Spring utilizes pastels as well – only in trench coat form! Either pastel pink, baby blue, or light lavender, these pastel trenches really dominated the Spring 2018 Ready to Wear shows and this one we show from the Dries Van Noten show. Then lastly, the anorak the back! Many designers also showcased parkas and anoraks and I love this one from Calvin Klein.

Luckly Burda has some great anorak and parka patterns and we’ve included this new Anorak pattern in our standard size kit. Then for the trench trend you can find a perfect one in each kit size!

What is your favorite Spring 2018 runway trend?
