Burgundy, orange, teal, plum and emerald – these are all the lovely jewel toned colors featured in burda style magazine’s new pattern collection. With a nod to the 70s, this new collection makes color chic and perfect for the street. These designs are tailored to a tee, and are all modern takes on classic styles.

This whimsical Raglan Blouse looks great made in a graphic print. It has a relaxed fit and beautiful raglan sleeves that gather into a wide cuff. It is nicely finished off with a loose scarf. We love it paired with this bright A-line Skirt. It features a front topstitched seam and hip welt pockets, that makes it hard to look away from.

This Mini Trench Jacket has with wide lapels and flap that is reminiscent of a classic trench. The waist band slims the waistline, and it also feature beautiful hand stitched seams.

Here is the Pleated Peplum Top. This lovely top has a pleated waist peplum that flares at the hip to create a slim waist. We love it worn with these sleek Straight Trousers for a look perfect for work and play!

This petite Wrap Dress is hard to take your eyes off of. It has a lovely neckline and waist tucks that create a nice shape.

This pretty Print Dress stands out with its bold print and color. Wear this dress everyday to anywhere! It has long cuffed sleeves and a little front slit with collar.

We simply adore this elegant Trench Coat. It is piped with leather trim that makes a beautiful finish. Shoulder tabs along the sleeves and shoulder also frame the structured silhouette.

Here is the Theater Dress. We think this dress is simply stunning, for date night – or the theater! It has a slimming waist seam, center back zipper and a lovely one sided slit.

Need that perfect suit? Look no further than the Tailored Blazer and the Ankle Trousers. This blazer is women’s tailoring at its finest. Worn with
these trousers definitely finish off the suit beautifully! You’ll feel ultra-chic and ready for business in this suit.

What is your favorite look from this collection?

Happy Sewing!

I love the details in the “A_Line skirt.” Those welt pockets look so professional and high end. I like the “Mini Trench Jacket” for the same reasons. The hand sewn top stitching is truely awesome! I love the “Theater Dress” because of its simplistic nature and that it could easily be altered at the waistline for a “perfect” fit.
