Perfect styles for the fashion adventurous! These curve-hugging and fun designs from the 05/2017 issue of BurdaStyle magazine shape into a modern safari look with exotic touches to add spice to the everyday.

This dress maintains the lines of a classic sheath to look as great for free time as it does for the office. The tailored fit of the dress includes wide bands sewn into the panel seams. Overcut shoulders get additional shape from the precise shoulder yoke.

This top is comfortable as a jersey shirt and yet wonderfully polished like a blouse. The silk crêpe fabric cascades beautifully on this relaxed-fit design with a patch pocket in front, and tabs at the shoulders and sleeves. Pair it with a pencil shirt or trousers as a fantastic look for any occasion.

A fantastically versatile fashion choice. This jumpsuit features cut-on sleeves, a tying belt and XL patch pockets. We have styled it here in a completely relaxed way. Dress it up easily with a clutch and a pair of heels to make it work for any cocktail dress occasion – and just as great looking when sewn in a black or jewel tone fabric!

The carefully chosen pattern mix has the illusion of a cool outfit comprised of a top and a maxi skirt. It is, however, a bit more sophisticated (and doesn‘t slip): A floor length skirt with gathered pleats for a beautiful drape, and a sexy V-neckline that adjusts with narrow tying bands to pull in or to tie closed this dress.

You can see in a glance why this shirt with the wide and rounded neckline, as well as bar tabbed sleeves tops the favourites list. Sewn in a challis fabric, it gets a boho style and a completely new look.

One for the vacation suitcase! This jumpsuit has zipper closures at the shoulders and is sewn in an easy-care challis that can handle some time in the suitcase and still look great. For those looking to have a bit more contrast, use a purchased belt as shown here, or sew your own in leather or fabric.

A fashion Must-Have that has endured the ages – and for good reason: This unlined trench coat is sewn in a stylish gabardine with buttons at the bodice and a belt that draws it together in front, then finished with horn buckles. A perfect choice for cooler summer days.

I really like these? Has anyone made the trench? We’re coming up to the (fall) season for it.

How are those two shirts different? And the jumpsuits? They kind of look like the same patterns over and over again.

They’re not different but the clue’s in the title – FIVE new patterns. That’s a top, dress, maxi dress, coat and jumpsuit.

They’re just shown in different ways :)
