I have so many fabric patterns at Soonflower. I have seen 2 in a very small swatch. i would love to see one of my designs in full effect and make something and wear it. i want to see the response of my friends. They won’t believe I designed it.

Wow, that’s a tough question. I really don’t have just one of either. I love the designs of so many of the talented designers that are out there as well as design companies, it’s too difficult to choose just one. It’s like the music I listen too, if one were to ask what type of music I listen to, there isn’t one. I enjoy classical, rock, country, funk ect… The same is true for any one band/group. I can’t choose just one. I enjoy it all just as I enjoy the wide range of fabrics and designs that are out there.

Hi, I love fabric…so to choose a favorite is a challenge. However, since that is the rule to enter this contest I will say it has to be Home Essentials by Mark Lipinski from Northcott. These are such a wonderful basic with texture! You can add them to any project and know it will “work”.

I am sure that if I win my new favorite will be Spoonflower! Thanks for the opportunity to enter. Susan

There are so many fab designers out there, for me, it is so great to pick a project and to be able to find and choose a fabric that really fits. This is a wonderful gift these cool designers give us.

Because, at heart I am a bit of a Bree Hodge and am a sucker for 50’s housewife-chic I do lean towards prints that capture that era – I particularly like the Urban Chiks fabrics.

I myself prefer to support independent designers like Spoonflower etc than multi-national corporations . . . (that may or may not also sell flat pack furniture . . .) ;) Just my personal preference!!!

Right now my favorite designer is Cath Kidston. I am a big fan of her sweetly retro printed oilcloth and her fantastic floral cottons. Reminds me of a long walk through an English rose garden!

I really don’t have a favorite fabric designer. I’m the type of person who’s drawn to unusual designs, if for nothing else, the novelty… and very few artists seem to be able to keep my interest beyond a design or two.

As far as fabric design companies, I’ve grown quite fond of Spoonflower. As someone who’s haphazardly found my way into the graphic arts profession… I love that I can take my art to a new audience without having to set up a big room of my own printing equipment, or having to store several bolts of inventory in an already over cluttered work and living space. Finding out about them a few months ago felt almost like a miracle.
