Up to two month ago, I had a sewing room. I had 2 big tables for cutting, and enough space. But since we moved, I don’t have my sewing space any more!

Like most people, I wish! I used to have one at our last house, but since we downsized last year, I’ve got the kitchen table.

I wish I had a whole room! I feel lucky to have a dedicated space – I share a craft room with my fiancee and the storage/office room. It’s not terrible, but it would be much easier if I were better organized. Whose fault is that? Mine!

I sew in what I believe would be the family room, and it’s totally dedicated to sewing. It’s my sewing room, and I also have my computer in here, so I pretty much hang out in the room much of the time. It’s my little nest :)

All rooms in my house are multi-purpose rooms…so I sew in a room that is used for pantry, washer/dryer/laundry, my husband’s closet, my chest of drawers, etc. But, there is space there and I can multitask on other chores while sewing!

Right now we have only one room, I’m sewing here. But we’re planning our new house and finally there will be a studio upstares, that we’ll share: I can sew, while my husband does his graphics. We love to work together. :)

I have a extra dining table set up in the dining room to sew at. It works perfectly as the kids can do a craft and have a snack while I sew away.

I used to have a dedicated sewing space in my apartment, but after a noise complaint I now have a dedicated cutting space in my apartment and a dedicated sewing table at my parent’s house. A bit annoying to have all the sewing stuff spread about, but eventually I hope I can have a cutting space with my sewing machines again.

yes, I have a dedicated sewing room. It’s got a table for my sewing machine and serger. I still have to arrange for storage space in the room to tidy up mountains of fabric though.

I had a dedicated sewing room. Then I gave birth to my son. My machines are still in his room, but I have projects in plastic bags all around the house. I usually do the actual sewing at nap or bed time out on the kitchen table. (I think I’ll keep the boy and look forward to sewing for GRANDKIDS when he is married and out of the house! lol) (he’s only 4 – I am REALLY looking ahead!)
