I really want a fire sale on the huge olfa cutting mats and 60mm rotary blades. 40-50% off Gingher pinking shears would be lovely and a good fold-away cutting table. Or a discount on vintage notions, those are nice

Best discout for me is on something I wouldn’t usually buy for myself. Like half off extra rotary cutters so I don’t have to stop and change blades or rulers. Right now I’m coveting the huge clip-together Olfa mats.

favorite most needed discount is on everything sewing! I usually can’t pass up a 40% on one time even if its on sale! or 20% (or more) on entire purchase.. any little bit helps with discounts but thats how i am usually reeled in :)

My favorite most needed discount would be a Serger. I use an old sewing machine that is great for most things since it also has embroidery. However, I work with stretch knits a lot and a serger would save me so much time it would be wonderful!

My next favorite would be the steamer/iron. Tools and accessories really help a lot.

I wish I had a fabulous fabric store nearby! One that would offer great fabrics with great discounts… I love to feel the fabric and see the textures and colors…something I can’t do buying online. A great fabric store would be a candy shop for me. A place with not only fabrics, but how about some fabulous buttons and trims at a discount too! Ohhhh…that would be the best.

I just came across this site and saw the give a ways. Better late than never I guess. I have to admit I have never even blogged before. Nor do I know what to say. But I have looked into one of them. Too Rich for my blood. So I need to use either my current one (don’t even know the brand) or my cordless. Both leak! Maybe I should have asked Santa for one. I did have a dress form on my list. Missed that one. AND to have my old Kenmore machine fixed.

It would definitely be fabric. I do not sew items just for profit, but also for other agencies in need of items and would be able to sew more if I could purchase quality fabric at a reasonable price.

Discounts on trims! I sew for myself, and do not own a company where i need miles and miles of laced ribbon. I have so much trouble finding decent priced trimming where I am allowed to buy 2 meters. They’ve always seem to have a 15meter minimum or the like. Not ideal for a small budget experimental fashion student : /

Can i just say… that iron looks like a beast.

Discounts on decent fabric, preferably a moderately thick tartan plaid that i can not seem to get my hands on. Or Patterns, probably patterns, by the time a find a nice pattern and make it the fashion has changed.

this may sound unrelated at first but the best discounts are the ones i get on everyday purchases like groceries and gas…if i can always save on stuff i have to buy all the time then i also always have leftover money for spending on fabric and sewing notions!!

It would be great if BurdaStyle teamed up with an online fabric retailer like Fabric.com for discounts; they have some great fabrics, but also notions and patterns too. I also wouldn’t mind discounts from Colette Patterns, Folkwear Sewing Patterns, Sense & Sensibility Patterns, or Wearing History.
