With its three shut-down safety measures, the Focus is the perfect iron for holiday-busy-ness and distractions. If I get hurriedly called away from the ironing board, my new Focus will not let me burn down the house!!

Scorch the ironing board pad? No. Start a fire? No.

I have a handful of small sewing projects that would benefit from an awesome iron with which to press (my current one is held together by duct tape). Also, pressing all those wrinkles out of party dresses!

I have for-pay sewing work waiting for me in my sewing room, but I haven’t touched it yet because the fabric is white cotton and my current iron has been leaving rust marks. So, this iron would greatly help my holiday by making it able for me to complete that project and get some extra money to help pay for additional gifts I would like to buy but can’t afford.

    Such a pretty iron!

The steaming capability would eliminate the water drops I get out of my current iron. In addition this thing is downright beautiful!

Well… My current iron “pees” on my fabric. Which is to say the water leaks out the holes and it has a rusty yellow color. So I don’t iron at all right now! This would help immensely because “proper pressing is the key to finishing” (as my mom always likes to remind me!)

A new Focus iron would help me out greatly. I am making stocking for everyone this year and I have lots of parties and open houses and the napkins and tablecloths (all handmade) need to be ironed. I’m also making several articles of clothing and I liberally use an iron each time I sew (it does wonders for the finished product). I would love to win a new Focus Iron from Rowenta!

I would have a REALLY good iron to press those seams – and the other could be relegated to lowly laundry duties only!

A new Focus Iron would help me in multiple ways. My Christmas Tree skirt would drape perfectly around the tree. The dress I wear for Midnight Mass would be wrinkle-free. My last-minute sewing projects would be pressed and ready for wrapping. And last but certainly not least, all these things would be done without my old iron ‘burping’ globs of water on them.

A new Iron would help me steam out the wrinkles in my party dress. Then I can iron my brothers dress shirt so he doesn’t look like a wrinkled prune at Christmas dinner. This iron is sooo nice and would be great to use for all my future sewing projects

I could iron the curtains I bought that have been hanging from the windows with large square creases in them. For the holidays it be nice to not look like they just came out of a package.

A Rowenta iron would help me with pressing seams. I am making a quilt for my niece, and quilting takes a lot of pressing, which my current iron is not doing that well. My mom and I were going to by an iron on sale at Joann’s on Black Friday, but my sister went into labor that morning before we could go shopping!!! If I won this iron, I would probably give it to my mom, and we could use it together when I sew at her house. We have never had a fancy iron (one was a Hamilton, but a mouse chewed up the power cord, so we got a $10 replacement at Wal-Mart).
