Peplum Blouse

The Sheath Dress

We are in love with this Princess Seam Pencil Skirt.

The Bolero Jacket and Sailor Pants are great as a set or on their own. Our versions are made with fine gabardine fabric, great for warmer weather but you can use wool to be more comfortable in winter!

This gorgeous Cocktail Dress features a draped neckline and a flounce detail on the side.

The Cache-Coeur Top is not a pattern available for download, but we provide step-by-step instructions on how to draft your very own pattern to make this awesome project. Our instructions include a sleeveless version as well as one with sleeves.

We hope you found something you like and that you feel just as inspired to make something as we do!

Happy sewing!
- Emmy and Jamie

Could someone direct me to a sizing chart? Specifically for the bolero jacket. Thanks!

Ah, this issue looks like one of the gems, I really like what I see here. Sadly, it won’t be in the shops here in Sweden until the end of May (???why?), frustration. But thank you Burdastyle for posting drafting instructions for the blouses!

I just love all of these patterns so much! Could you please direct me to the pattern for the pants shown on the model with the Cache Coeur top view B? Is that available as well? Thank you for posting this! I’m excited to get to work.

      Hello Haley,

We are glad you like them!

Unfortunately the pants in the photo with the Cache-Coeur are not from a pattern, they are used for the photo shoot only.

We hope you find something else you like!

I bought the magazine for the first time purely on the strength of these designs. There are at least 6 things I want to make NOW. Starting with the Cache-Coeur top – I have some navy lace I’m going to use.

I don’t see how the top A is the same as the shirt above it. I was trying to figure it out because I based the top of my prom dress on that

It’s a wrap around top, you just start wraping up higher, at the neckline and tie it at the back

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this issue! Finally we have something interesting to make. My favourite is the white peplum blouse. It looks like something from the runway! Please, keep giving us something like that. European ladies always had better sense of style and we would love to have some of that too. Thank you so much for this issue of Burda Style!!!!

I have this issue and love the styles. I plan to make the sheath dress I have traced out the pattern and a bit confused with having 2 front pattern pieces of the dress. I plan to make it all in Black lace with black lining.
