I have an old Kenmore which has been a very good machine for over 40 years. But since I’m 67 it would be wonderful to win a NEW machine that is updated and lightweight…lol

I usually have some small projects on the go throughout the year. This year I started the larger projects in June, just after I finished my granddaughter’s formal prom dress. My sewing machine is becoming very temperamental so winning this Singer sewing machine would be perfect.

Already started! I’m on my 3rd sample of the oven mitt, which is a mix of several different techniques from different patterns. Hope to start making the real ones tomorrow night.

This would be used to make items for charities, family and hopefully myself (normally don’t give back to myself enough like I should).

My holiday sewing is usually an intense burst in the week before I see friends and family. This year I’m going to make a couple garments for myself, alter two or three things that have been on my to-do list for way too long, and make gifts for a few special people. I scheduled a little time on my calendar every Friday in December for sewing with the intention of slowing down and giving myself the gift of time.

I usually try to sew for the holidays all throughout the year but this year I’ve been so busy with other projects that I haven’t even started yet and won’t until next week.

I sew for the holidays all year long – I like to keep a stash of little presents like cosmetic bags, coin pouches, and such to add as stocking stuffers.

I haven’t started holiday sewing yet, but probably will in the next week or so. If there was a holiday party that I was planning to sew something for myself to wear I would have already started that.

I don’t have a schedule for holiday (or any other kind) sewing. I am very much a spontaneous crafter, inspired in the moment. I could sew something for the holidays in July or even on Christmas Eve.
