I start sewing as soon as possible so that I’m not rushed to do it days before christmas.

This year, I surprised myself by starting in August. Usually, it’s not until at least October.

I usually start sewing pretty late in the game for Christmas, even though I have the gifts planned out months in advance.

I always plan to start on Half-Christmas — July 1 — but end up getting going in the last week of November when I realize I"ll have to mail my gifts within a week! So much for well laid plans…. My biggest ideas get set aside this way, but there is always next year, right??

I’m generally sewing and quilting projects throughout the year that I set aside to give during the holidays. But I usually find myself putting the finishing touches on some last minute things.

I wait till the last minute to sew holiday items. I am a procrastinator. Once I get started though, I get it done.

I don’t sew garments in December but enjoy making Holiday items. That includes making ornaments with my mother and sister and this year it will also include making blankets for some puppy friends.

With the hustle and bustle of the Christmas holidays and all the advertising to make your home picture perfect, I truly enjoy when I can do homemade decor and ornaments for the holiday. For me it seems to add the feeling of Christmas even more. This is a wonderful giveaway. Happy Holidays! :-)
