I usually start sewing for the Christmas in October. Most people are getting bags. My niece and nephew are getting duffle bags, sister-in-law gets a tote bag, my dad wanted a travel bag, my brother is getting a sweat shirt cause he’s not much of a bag guy. Some pillows for some friends and I didn’t sew a present for my mom I made her a garden bench. The bench is also for my dad as well.

I don’t sew too much tbh, only when I need to. I do patch up some stuff that I put off during the year. I might learn to do more

Whenever I get inspiration. Sometimes it starts in the early autumn. Other times I procrastinate until right before Christmas.

What a wonderful machine to give to my grown daughter who wants to learn to sew! She just needs basics, anything complicated will frustrate her (the joys of autism in adults).

Every year I intend to start early, like in January, but always scramble in December with ideas that NEED to happen. This year is no exception!! However, somehow it always comes together.

I just started sewing to put myself through college. I have two more years before I become a math teacher. I’m a single parent of two girls and sewing has helped me save money on our clothes. Especially mines since I seem to have an expensive taste. However, sewing is therapeutic for me. It’s the time that I spend most talking to Jesus. A new sewing machine will help me along my sewing journey.
