I would probably use the bright threads to create scenes that I was inspired to create from Paris. I just came back from a homestay near there (Fondette, near Tours).

I would make all of the beautiful dresses, skirts, and tops that are currently only in my imagination because I’m too busy to run back to the fabric store to match all my fabrics up to thread.

Oh! to have the right colour for each fabric just when you need it, without going looking for it and finding that’s just the thread the shop has run out of!

With so many colors, I could sew many things from embroidery, thread painting, surface embellishment, to construction. I love and use their threads all the time.

I could use them to mix with my shiny embroidery threads and make great contrast in my machine embroidery landscapes. Also I’ll sew all the finishing and frames when embroidery is finish.

I would sew together a fun, flirty summer dress with an array of colors! Since I’m sure I would have thread leftover, I would also create an AWESOME DOGGIE BED for my 2, rather large, puppies!!!

These look lovely and I am just about to get a fabulous spool holder so firstly they would make that look even better. Then for the sewing… I think these would be great to use for machine embroidery on simple summer tops – very quick and pretty.

Everything! I hate it when I sit down to make/alter something and I realize the only thing I’m missing is the right thread color!

Ï foresee that if I won these I would have no problem of shortage of threads or finding the right compatible thread Color while sewing as these seem to be more than enough.

I would sew a collection of vintage dresses for my mother and myself. The thread colors allow the mind to envision bright, vivid, and bubbly clothing.

If I should win the thread collection, I would make a thread bowl using all the colors…You can do this by sewing on a few pieces of washaway stabilizer….cut and lay in pieces of thread and continue to sew until you have a piece you like…Wash away the stabilizer and lay fabric piece on a bowl in order to dry and maintain the bowl shape…These are so fun, but time consuming…and no 2 pieces are alike…thanks, Diane in Louisiana

I was just at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC and saw some amazing native american quill and bead work, I would take some of the kinds of imagery and interpret it in layers of colored thread over cording?floss, some sating stitches to achieve the dense textured effect of quill-work layering the finer thread with the floss in multiple colors for depth. I would use this as enrichment and detail on an indian kurta (band color, plackets, pocket detail.

Wow, with all of those beautiful colors I could really make a dent in my stash. I have patterns for clothes to make for me and the grandkids: patterns for quilts and lots of Burda World of Fashion Magazines that I know are just itching for me to start getting some of those beautiful patterns copied out of them. Oh yeah,… I could keep really busy with all of that Coats thread.

I sew a lot , would each and every day if I had that much time and didnt need to clean house or cook LOL. I sew for a rare collection of people, children , adults and friends from gradeschool also. I also do a lot of sewing projects for our Armed Forces both at home and overseas. They need so much and I can only do such a small part in this . I would love to win this collection, since for me finding thread to match fabrics is so hard to do where I live. Small towns are awesome until you need something like just the right shade of green or pink LOL. Good Luck to all who enter and with that said I still want to win LOL

I’ve always thought thread painting sounded really neat, and it always looks beautiful. Maybe the tread could be used in my first attempt. I’m thinking African Savana at dusk. If not, I could use it for some embrodery on an older dress of mine! I love that dress, but tan is rather bland alone!

Looking at the rainbow of colors It inspires me to make something that would use every one of them. Maybe a basket full of fabric friuts and veggy softies for my toddlers Olivia and Victoria.
