I would like to see more cottons fabrics with more fashionable prints. Besides some twills, “poppli” and pique for easy making garmets, especially when you are new sewing.

Britex have the best wool fabrics. One thing I have trouble finding is good twills- I like fine wool and silk twills.

I’d like to see knits, but I have to admit I love their wools, where I live it’s not easy to get wool in other colour than black.

I would love to see ethical or ecofabrics but in really good quality such as blends of hemp and silk or organic cotton, in nice, soft shades.

I need vintage! The more, the merrier. Vintage tweeds, vintage velour, vintage anything. I know it’s not 100% practical, since remnants are probably easier to find, but I would die to get 5 yards of some gorgeous vintage grandma-esque polyester.

I have not worked with wool yet, but am so in love with this shade of this blue. As women we wear so much black! I think a cape like this is great opporuntity for us to add color into our wardrobe. I looked at the tweeds and wish there were better color offerings, like deep purples, reds, burgundies. Summer is over and cannot really see myself wearing pink in the fall/winter and own too many black and grey coats already.

I would love to see Britex selling prints, on cotton, jersey and silk. I think it is possible to buy lovely coloured fabrics online but beautiful prints are so rare!Another thing I would love to see is a good collection of recycled and eco-friendly fabrics. Could the online shop even have a section where customers could put up fabric they have bought and sell it to other customers, like a fabric exchange?

I love the Britex shop in SF, I hope to visit it again later this year.

Hi there! well, I’d love to see those kind of fabrics you don’t easily get around the corner. As I live in Argentina, the cost of shipping the fabric is high. But I’m well disposed into paying for it, only if fabric is worth it and I won’t get it nearby. So I’m guessing a full textured fabric such as quilted ones or already done patchworks. Also full embroidered fabric would be nice. Then I’ll like to see what pieces match with the fabric I’m choosing, as I’ve noticed that the online shop doesn’t give that option as well as a “you may also like…” section. Thanks!!
