Description

Pleats add often tricky to identify on your paper pattern, and those directional arrows can be confusing. In this video Meg will walk you through a pattern and show you how to mark pleats in your fabric using two different techniques. Then you’ll learn how to accurately determine how the pleats are to lay in your fabric piece and baste into place. Things like laying pleats and marking your fabric accurately differentiate a well made garment from a poorly made one. The garment making process really starts well before you sew anything!
