A lace placement is the way you prepare the pattern pieces to be cut on lace fabric. First you will need to photo copy the lace fabric and piece it together to see the direction/repeat of the lace. Then you cut your pattern pieces with the photo copied lace. Finally you true the pattern pieces (both pattern and lace pattern) to each other and proceed to cut from the lace fabric.
