This is the fastest and the most simple way to make a hem. Neaten/finish the hem allowance, baste under, press, then remove basting. Place “hem fix“, a double-sided fusible interfacing under the hem allowance and press once more. Obviously, this interfacing should never be wider than the hem allowance, otherwise if would stick to the iron!
Important: Before sticking the hem, you must read the product instructions and try out your iron on a fabric remnant.
