When you don’t have enough fabric to make a hem or on a sequin fabric, insert a hem in a colour-coordinated lining or additional fabric. For this, cut out a strip of lining or additional fabric about 6 cm wide. With right sides together, stitch in place along the marked hem line and press the hem allowances apart. Then baste the ?false? hem inwards. Press edge, turn hem allowance under and hand-sew or topstitch in place.
