Normal embroidery thread should not be used for machine embroidery. Each individual manufacturer has developed special their own machine embroidery threads in a very wide range or colours.
You can use metallic, multi-colour, solar, neon and ultra-violet sensitive threads.
Ultra twist embroidery thread is made from various rayon threads. The effect is that the motifs look very natural, especially with a fur look.
