This method is mainly used for firmly hand-sewing zippers as it leaves only a small point visible on the right side. Sew from right to left: insert needle, then exit again after about 5 mm. Insert needle again 1 to 2 fabric threads behind the needle exit point, exit again about 5 mm further on, and so on.
