I used this technique today but modified it by centering the zipper for an invisible zipper. Talk about the easiest way I have ever done a zipper in my life!!!!!!! Thank you for this helpful hint.

Oh thanks for the link! I have seen her appear a few times on the Threads website, and like the titbits of advice she offers whilst showing stuff. I will always interface my fabric around zips from now on!
