Getting Back To Basics! I make no apologies in this post for taking us ALL back to the very roots of fashion sewing and the completion of our sewing projects. Over the last few months, :http://www.fashionsewingblog.com has received more and more questions and queries on this topic from many a confused reader. So many fashion sewers, frustrated and stuck, seeking advise to get them over that every increasing hurdle. Understanding Your Tissue Sewing Pattern You’ll find the design of your chosen garment, printed onto tissue paper inside of the sewing pattern envelope. The printed pattern pieces are designed to be either traced around to make an exact copy, or cut out directly from the paper. Each sewing pattern piece will have, printed upon it, numerous markings and information to ensure that after construction, the finished garment fits and hangs correctly.
