Getting Back To Basics! I make no apologies in this post for taking us ALL back to the very roots of fashion sewing and the completion of our sewing projects. Over the last few months, http://www.fashionsewingblog.com has received more and more questions and queries on this topic from many a confused reader. So many fashion sewers, frustrated and stuck, seeking advise to get them over that every increasing hurdle. Understanding Your Sewing Pattern Instructions / Guides Inside of the sewing pattern envelope, you’ll find the instruction / guide sheet to help you, step by step complete the sewing project of your choice. All instruction / guide sheets differ somewhat from sewing company to sewing company, but the basics remain consistent throughout. All, will have lined drawings, accompanied by instructional text, guiding the fashion sewer through each stage of construction. Some instruction / guide sheets are easier to read than others, and you will find, that the more difficult and complicated the project, the more complicated (and sometimes frustrating) the instruction sheet.

This is really nicely done. I’d like to pin it to my sewing board but would like to link directly to your site… would you mind adding the url to this post? Thanks for sharing.
