I make no apologies in this post for taking us ALL back to the very roots of fashion sewing and the completion of our sewing projects. Understanding Your Sewing Pattern Envelope Our fashion sewing journey begins with the sewing pattern. Designed to help us make the decision to purchase, showcase its designs and styles, the sewing pattern envelope is the first to catch our eye. I’m guessing, but the back of the envelope is probably where the frustration starts to set in. A plethora of information including recommended fabrics, notions, types of interfacing, special tools and those ever confusing measurement charts bombard our eyes.
