thanks for sharing this information with us! I watched your video some months ago, and last week I finally tried to sew with a twin needle myself. The result turned out fine, just like on your video!

Thank you so much for the tutorial! When I first tried this myself (before I saw what you did) I managed to break the expensive twin needle with the first stitch. I have used the twin needle again – according to your instructions and it worked just fine. I still get the tunneling effect a bit though, despite having loosened the lower thread tension quite a bit. But the result is still good enough. Thanks again!

This is a great video, thanks so much! I have often wondered if a twin needle on a regular machine would give a similar effect so this was very helpful. I am going to pick up a twin needle attachment and try this out. Thanks!

Wow – you are fab!! I ended up buying an overlocker thinking that I would be able to achieve the ‘coverstitch’ technique with it, not realising that you have to buy a specific cover stitch machine! And I could have done it all along with my normal machine! Thank you so much, I have been dying to get this effect on my projects without having to fork out for the expensive machine, you are a star.

Most excellent video! I’ve sewn all my life and have never used the twin needle. I can’t wait to try it. What a woman, sewing with a video camera in hand!

Thanks! I will have to try this. I avoid knits for this reason.
