Tutorial for a simple tissue case. They are basically a lined fabric rectangle folded to meet at the center. I make the outer fabric longer than the lining fabric so it automatically folded inside, because I don’t like the lining fabric showing at the edge. It also eliminates the need of topstitching. They’re so adorable, I’ll have no choice but to make them for everyone I know! :)
How did you make the patchwork fabric though?

Thank you! The fabric is not patchworked, it’s the pattern of the fabric :)

I love that fabric! I saw it used for a project in the One Yard Wonders book, and was wondering where they found it. Could anyone please tell me the name of the fabric/company that made it?

The fabric is from Japanese company, Echino by Etsuko Furuya. They’re indeed very pretty!

I made these tissue holders over twenty years ago. It is a great first sewing project. We made them as a fund raiser. The pattern was in a magazine. I love your colors. Great project. Thanks for sharing.
