Materials:
Plaid fabric, 140 cm (55 ins) wide: 1.30 m (1 1/2 yds). Interfacing. 1 button. 2 sew-on snap fasteners. Sewing thread. Tailor’s chalk.

Cutting:
2 skirt pieces, each 100 cm (40 ins) wide, 60 cm (24 ins) long (incl. seam allow­ances).
Make sure that the plaid lines of both skirt pieces match!
Waistband: 8 cm (3 1/4 in) wide, length = waist circumference plus 8 cm (3 1/4 ins) (incl. seam allow­ances).

Iron interfacing to wrong side of waistband piece.
