Yes! Thank you. I’ve been afraid to use knits because I don’t have a serger. Can you post something aout choosing a knit? Do some knits have more stretch than others? How do you buy the fabric?

Thank you for this. I have a walking foot for my quilting…so happy to know I can use it for stretch fabrics.

How would you do a basting stitch for gathers. I think this stitch length would be to small to pull up, and would a straight stitch be needed instead of a zig zag?.
Thank you.

Very cool – you made it look easy. I happen to have that foot and want to sew a silk jersey dress.

It definitely is easy. That was only the second time I’d done it :)

Thank you for this video. As the others say, I did not know about the walking foot. Now I really can create patterns from my favorite t-shirts and make a whole drawerful.

Very helpful! I, too, did not realize I was not using the proper foot! Thanks!

Thanks! That was really useful – especially the part about the walking foot – I never realised that’s the one I needed!
