Make a straight line the length of your front hem measurement on the paper. One end will be “Cut on Fold”; the other end, add 5/8” seam allowance. The width should be the same as pattern pieces 3 and 4, unless you want a thicker band. Then you can increase the width. Cut this pattern piece.
