Check the right side of the top- you should have an evenly ruched sleeved and no plucking on either side of the armhole seam. Cut your seam allowance to 1cm. Using your overlock or a zig-zag stitch on the sewing machine finish the raw edges on the armhole and sleeve side seam.

    This is a really cute tshirt remake, I’m so glad you gave a great tip to sew the sleeve in flat. That tip takes any sleeve refashion to a new level! I plan to remake several shirts, most will have a contrasting color which would make a cute girly baseball style shirt. Thanks for a great tute!
