Set fabric paint with hot iron. Most fabric paints require heat to set them. And some fabric markers do, too. I've placed this step after writing the labels in case your fabric marker requires heat to set - but you can just set the blank labels with the iron if your marker doesn't. TIP: I keep a sheet of blank labels handy in case of birthdays and unexpected tailoring projects for clients.

    This is so great, thank you. I’ve opted out of labels thus far due to the cost but I will definitely try this!

    Question on the ironing step: You can press your iron directly onto the fabric? Or do you need some sort of press cloth, etc. between the fabric ink and the iron?
