Follow this video as I make up my Wide Legged, Front Pleated Trouser - Pattern No 931. The method will apply to most patterns for trousers. If the wide leg style is too bold, try it in a fabric with some drape such as wool crepe. To make the pattern easy for beginners, rather than a fly front, I have opted for a zip in the back seam, 50's slacks style which is also more flattering. You may like to purchase this pattern in sizes 6-22 from my website "angelakane.com":http://angelakane.com/ Alternatively, become a member and have access to all my patterns and videos.
You will need 2-3 metres of fabric depending on pattern size and fabric width - 0.3 metre of lining - An invisible zip - Machine thread - Topstitching thread - Jeans style press stud Waistband interlining
