Intro

To make this dress no actual pattern was used. However If you make a basic strapless dress or use a strapless dress pattern it is no problem. All I did was add a scalloped edge on the bottom of the dress. When i lined the dress I made a ruffle that I attached to the lining that was longer then the outer layer of the dress. I also added a band to make the dress have an empire waist.

Technique Materials

I used cotton but i am sure it would work with other fabrics as well.

    I am in lvoe with this dress, it’s absoloutely beautiful! Could you recomend a pattern for me to alter? I’m not a very advanced sewer, and I don’t think that I could make a pattern myself.

    Yeah, this dress is so cute, but I am terrible with sewing without patterns. You don’t by any chance have a pattern you can recommend that I can alter for this? I would really love to try it out.
