Hi, I just wanted to add that if you’re making bias tape for a double fold, you need to make it 4x wider than your seam allowance…e.g. if your seam allowance is 1/2", then your tape should be 2" wide.

I have found these instructions for making “continuous bias” to be very helpful.

It’s really quite remarkable how a small piece of fabric can make quite a lot of bias tape.

This works for me and is also the way Burda explains it in their magazine. If there is a “correct” way to sew this I’d like to know, please advice.
