Step 1
To make inverted box pleat, mark the above 5 points on the right side of your fabric, where you want to make a box pleat. Points 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are 1" (2.5 cm) apart. Point 5 is the center of the pleat. This is the standard ratio. Your box pleat intake can be as much or as little as you desire.
