I’m hoping someone will see this really quickly…
I’m trying to create a frame work ( not completely square embroidery plaque) but, since chemo & radiation treatments, I can’t recall certain aspects of figuring this out. My friend wants 1 1/2 inch of border, then there’s seem allowance (twice as I’ll be putting on a back to this item) so, in other words, 1 1/2 inch, boarder, seam allowance of 5/8’, twice of corse, then, I want to miter the corners… any help is sincerely appreciated.. I have been trying to do this for many weeks now and feel like I’m now stupid or something.
Can someone please help me? The item I’m putting the boarder around is 15 7/8" – bottom 15 6/8" – top 15 5/8" – Left 15 6/8" – right
if I wanted to put a boarder of 1 1/2 inch, with a seam allowance of 5/8 (X2) what would the strip I cut be in size? Please please help, I don’t wish to look like a moron to the person who’s asked me to do this work.. :(
I just can’t seem to do the math since chemo & radiation treatments.
I thank you in advance!
