Once you master this trick you won't want to make seams any other way! I've used this technique on Anda and Azalea plus many many more...It works on anything sleeveless as long as you have a lining and shoulder straps wider than a few cm. It is quite complicated to explain hence the large number of photos, but I think a beginner could get through it.

This is awesome!! I’ve done this before for my newborn’s coming home dress and didn’t do it in this order and couldn’t get it back to right side in… I felt like such a dummy! Now I won’t have to make that mistake again!

Woah, I would have never been able to get my head around this without all the pics! Thanks, I’ll try this sometime!

This is SO cool – as a beginner I have been trying to figure out ways of avoiding handsewing shoulders..

Do you have a pattern for that doll dress. I’ve been looking for one similar to that and haven’t found one anywhere. Thanks

I really can’t get my mind around this one… Whenever I’ve tried something like this, it ends up looking like the Möbius strip’s cousin. If this works, I’m eternally grateful.

Excellant How to, you should do all the howto’s! I now remember this trick from a reversable wrap around dress from I made in the seventies! Good Job!….Carolee
