When I first learned to sew, putting in a zipper meant following the directions on the zipper package, which meant trying to hand baste the thing and getting stuck one million times by pins, and having oh, less than perfect results. No more. This technique for applying a lapped zipper comes from information derived from a Threads magazine article by the fabulous Rosebud.
