1: Use the nap layout to cut your fabric. <br> 2: I mark the pattern pieces and the fabric with the arrows going towards one side only so that I do not place the pattern towards different directions to the nap. <br> 3: Pin pattern pieces with long pins to the wrong side of the fleece.

I made a shell of fleece for a long robe and tried to put a ruffled collar on the neck…too thick to sew even with my walking foot…I guess there’s a limit with any collars on weather the normal number of layers to sew…can be achieved with fleece!
